- Oklahoma Regional Volleyball Championships
- 4,000 attendees

A premier youth volleyball event, the 2026 OKRVA Regional Championships will consist of boys and girls teams from 10U-18U. Certain teams will be competing for bids to national-level tournaments. Matches will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2 and run until the final match on Sunday afternoon.

Audience Insight: Teams are made up of family-oriented players who will likely look to eat with teammates and their families in medium-to-large groups near Expo Square and into downtown.

Some of the best youth softball players from around the country will be in Green Country showcasing their skills in front of college scouts and recruiters. Teams will be 12U-18U and each team is guaranteed at least five games.

- BOK Center/Arvest Convention Center
|
High school students representing FFA chapters from schools across the state will be at the BOK Center for the 100th Annual State Convention and Expo. Events will include showcases, speakers and awards shows.

Audience Insight: Large numbers of high school students will be downtown, on their own for lunch and dinner there as well as midtown. They will likely look for places that can accommodate large groups, as well as takeout options that they can eat at their hotels.

- Banana Ball World Tour
- 20,000 attendees
- ONEOK Field
|
The global sensation Banana Ball, made famous by the Savannah Bananas, returns to Tulsa and ONEOK Field in the first year of the Banana Ball Championship League. The Texas Tailgaters and Indianapolis Clowns will face off for three games on May 7, 8 and 9.
|
Audience Insight: Will likely be a family-heavy crowd, with families and groups looking for appropriate dining options downtown before the game, along with smaller groups of young adults who will seek out bars and nightlife.

- First Church 2nd SouthWest Regional Convention
- 1,500 attendees
- Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center
|
A regional convention of members of the First Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ featuring three days of teaching and services.
|
Audience Insight: Most attendees will likely dine on-site at the hotel for convenience. Those that arrive early will explore the 71st Street corridor and nearby restaurants for familiar dining options.

|
Major event aimed at enhancing the Cutting Horse industry. It is currently made up of more than 300 of the premier cutting horse stallions in the industry and has given out almost $20 million in prize money over the last 12 years.

Audience Insight: Lunch will be casual or fast-casual near Expo Square, typically skewing toward takeout. For dinner, groups will seek out upscale restaurants and steakhouses that can seat large groups.

- Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions

|
Six days of competition among the best men’s and women’s amateur boxers in the country. Field will be comprised of 20 weight classes and boxers between the ages of 18-40 are eligible to compete.

- Black Wall Street Rally
- 3,500 attendees
- Historic Greenwood District
|
The fifth-annual Black Wall Street Rally is a motorcycle-inspired event in the heart of Historic Greenwood District. This year’s rally will feature Black Wall Street tours, vendors, live music, guest speakers, a golf classic and much more.
|
Audience Insight: Groups will be in and around downtown for the three-day event, especially near Greenwood. Establishments in the area will be quite busy during lunch and dinner service.

- NXTPRO PUMA Shoe Circuit
- 12,000 attendees
- Expo Square
|
A top-tier youth basketball circuit sponsored by PUMA that features boys’ and girls’ teams. Over 600 teams are expected to compete with college coaches likely in attendance.

Audience Insight: Teams and players will move citywide when not competing for dining, retail and attractions. Some will travel with families but not all, so most will likely seek restaurants that can accommodate entire teams.

- 1,300 attendees

Professional development and networking conference for educators from around the country. Program includes keynote speakers, panels and small group breakout sessions.
|
Audience Insight: Groups will eat lunch on-site at the conference but be on their own for dinner. Most will likely stay in the downtown area and eat in groups of their peers.

An official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ attempt for the largest classic car parade in history, Capital Cruise will roll down 5.5 miles of Tulsa’s Route 66 to celebrate the Centennial of the Mother Road. The party starts with the Capital Cruise Expo on Thursday, May 28, followed by the Bank of Oklahoma Capital Cruise Tailgate on May 29, and then Cruise itself on May 30. Cars will stage at Expo Square and then head north on Yale Ave. to the beginning of the spectator route at 11th and Yale.

Audience Insight: Audience will include drivers and classic-car enthusiasts who will be in the parade, as well as Route 66 fans from all over the world. They will seek out other Route 66-themed activities and attractions while in town.
