BOARD OF ADVISORS UPDATE

TID Company Board of Advisors Positions 9, 10, 11

The Board of Advisors for the Tourism Improvement District Company is responsible for oversight of the TID, including annually approving the service provider budget, marketing plan and performance goals.  Three hotel representatives have been elected to a three-year term for board positions 9, 10 and 11, whose eligibility requirements are outlined in the District Plan:

  • Position 9, At-Large (including opt-in properties): Michael Frimel, POSTOAK Lodge & Retreat
  • Position 10, Property South of 41st Street: Ravi Sharma, Marriott Tulsa Southern Hills
  • Position 11, Property North of 41st Street: Pete Patel, Promise Hotels

REPORTING

Assessment Collections

2025 yielded significantly higher collections for the months of January and February compared to 2024, followed by smaller increases seen in March and April. Year-to-date, over $1 million has been collected in TID assessments, for a 23.7% increase over the same period in 2024.

Marketing Activity

  • In March and April, 24 event-based campaigns garnered 64.2 MM impressions and 648,584 clicks across display and social channels, for an overall CTR 1.01%. For additional details, these campaigns along with run dates and targeted markets can be found in Tulsa Regional Tourism’s latest quarterly report.
  • Campaign click-throughs additionally converted to 6,759 direct booking searches and 1,087 referrals for TID properties, bringing cumulative referrals in 2025 to 2,336.
